Food security and it’s difficulties
Rapporteur- Farbod Dehghani: Physiological needs such as food and water are one of the basic needs of every human being. Well-known as basic human needs In Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Due to the location of country in the region that is geographically one of the driest global climates, the need to address the issue of food security is doubled.
In our country rainfall average is very low compared to the global average precipitation and only a third of the world average rains in Iran.
On the other hand, population growth and declining agricultural land area due to land use change and migration from rural to urban areas is another factor which is threatening food security.
Due to the continuation of the current drought and the decline of agriculture power for food security, it is necessary for authorities to support this sector and the use of new technologies to improve agricultural production, and before the problem becomes a serious crisis, we must find a way to solve it.
